Theology is essential to the life of the church. Christians need faithful interpretation, doctrinal clarity, careful thinking, and the courage to resist teachings that distort the gospel.

But theology begins to lose its soul when doctrine no longer kneels.

A Christian may know theological vocabulary, quote Scripture, correct error, and speak confidently about God while becoming less prayerful, less teachable, and less aware of grace.

In this episode, we explore how prayer protects theology from pride, performance, tribalism, and self-sufficiency. Prayer reminds us that God is not an idea we can master or a system we can control. He is the living Lord before whom we listen, confess, receive, worship, and obey.

The deepest question is not merely:

How much theology do I know?

It is this:

Has what I know brought me nearer to God?

When theology remembers to pray, it becomes humbler without abandoning conviction, deeper without becoming obscure, and more faithful in the way it teaches, corrects, and bears witness.
