Humility is often misunderstood as thinking poorly of ourselves, refusing to acknowledge our gifts, or allowing stronger personalities to control us.

But Christian humility is not self-erasure. It is the freedom to stop making the self the center.

In this episode, we explore how Jesus redefines greatness through the pattern of the Servant King. His humility is not weakness but strength released from the need to dominate. His authority is shaped by love, and His lordship is revealed through service.

We also consider the dangers of spiritual pride, manipulative leadership, harsh correction, and the religious need to appear superior. Christian humility allows us to hold truth firmly without turning it into a weapon. It teaches us to listen, repent, receive correction, give credit freely, and serve without demanding applause.

The central question is not simply, “Do I appear humble?”

It is this:

Does my life increasingly resemble the Servant King?
